Terms and Conditions of Hire

Munros Menswear

 

Hire of Garments:

 

It is the customers’ responsibility to ensure all aspects of the booking form are correct including garment selection, function date etc.

 

Choice of outfit:

 

After an outfit is selected this is deemed the chosen outfit, changes to such must be made no later than 3 weeks prior to the function date. Changes made within 3 weeks of the function date may incur extra charges due to administrative costs. The customer is responsible for the outfit chosen, all care will be taken to ensure correct choices are made however Munros cannot be responsible for colour mismatches or shade variations.

 

Measurements:

 

All measurements should be made by Munros, in the instance of using a customer’s own measurements the customer will be held responsible for the cost of any outfit change overs required. Prior to measurements being taken a minimum of 50% of the order value must have already been paid. Measurements should be taken within eight weeks of the function date.

 

Outfit collection:

 

All items are checked upon delivery to store however some ironing may be required due to creasing during transport. Customers should check items upon collection to ensure satisfaction, Munros cannot be held responsible for missing items unless notified before leaving store. All outfits should be tried on prior to collection and any concerns regarding fitting communicated within 3 days of the function date. It is the contract holder’s responsibility to ensure all party members attend for a fitting, Munros will not be responsible for late try-ons.

 

Security Bond:

 

Prior to collection the contract holder is required to fulfil a security bond to ensure outfit return, this will be held securely and only used should you fail to return garments.

 

Return of Garments:

 

The hire period is from 9am on the function date till 5.30pm the following Monday. Suits required for a longer period will be charged at an additional 50% hire charge per week which must be arranged prior to collection. Late returns will be charged at a cost of £10 per suit per day.

 

Cancellations:

 

Once booked deposits are non-refundable however further payments will be refunded to 50% of the total value of the order if cancelled within 3 weeks of the function date. Orders cancelled less than 3 weeks prior to the function date will be liable for the full charge. Individual outfit cancellations will be refunded in full prior to 3 weeks before the function date after which full payment must be made.

 

Accidental Damage Waiver:

 

All suits are covered by the accidental damage waiver which covers accidental damage up to the value of the suit not including losses or deliberate damages. Top hats are not covered by ADW.
